Inland Empire Regional Finalist: Code Orange Robotics Team Sponsored by Dobrusin

Dobrusin sponsored the Code Orange team, with its robot Cloud 9, at the Inland Empire Regional this past weekend. The team was a finalist and only missed being the winner by a single match.

They also won the prestigious Regional Engineering Inspiration Award which qualified them to go to the World Championship in St. Louis in April 2015. This award celebrates outstanding success by a FRC robotic team in advancing respect and appreciation for engineering within a team’s school and community.

Two team members also won prestigious individual awards. Andrew Hedge, their lead technical mentor won the Woodie Flowers Finalist Award. This award is presented to an outstanding mentor in the robotics competition who best leads, inspires, teaches, and empowers their team using excellent communication skills.  Chetana Piravi won the FIRST Dean’s List Award. This award celebrates outstanding student leaders whose passion for and effectiveness at attaining FIRST ideals is exemplary. 
They are also currently ranked by FRCTOP25 as the Week 1 No. 22 top FRC robot in the world
