ABBY C. MOSKOVITZ gained admission to the State Bar of California in 1999. Thereafter, she gained admission to the Vermont Bar in 2001, and the Michigan Bar in 2003. Ms. Moskovitz graduated with honors from Northwestern University (Evanston, IL) in 1996 with degrees in Mathematic Methods in the Social Sciences and History. Ms. Moskovitz received her J.D. cum laude from New York University School of Law (New York, NY) in 1999.
Ms. Moskovitz has ten years of litigation experience. Prior to joining Dobrusin & Thennisch in 2003, she obtained diverse experience working at McCutchen, Doyle, Brown & Enersen LLP (now Bingham McCutchen LLP) in San Francisco, California, and Langrock, Sperry & Wool, LLP in Middlebury, Vermont. At Dobrusin & Thennisch, Ms. Moskovitz represents and consults individual and corporate clients on all matters concerning copyright and trademark law, including litigation in federal court and before the U.S. Trademark Trial and Appeal Board. She also regularly advises and consults with in-house counsel regarding the prosecution, registration, and enforcement of their trademark portfolios. Ms. Moskovitz has extensive experience with trademark and copyright disputes arising out of Internet usage, including cybersquatting claims and proceedings under the Uniform Dispute Resolution Policy.
